Description: Research Field: Immunobiology and Infection Biology/Medicine Stomach cancer is the second most type of cancer worldwide. In most cases the bacterium Helicobacter Pylori plays the initial role. After an infection it settles down in the stomach lining, causes chronic inflammation followed by ulcers.
