  • Description: Astronaut Greg Chamitoff, aboard the International Space Station 220 miles above Earth, is taking your questions. Here's your chance to hear direct from space. Chamitoff's schedule will not allow him to answer many questions, but he will attempt to answer a few each week. To submit your question, go to www.nasa.gov/ask! Come back to ReelNASA to hear your answers!Donald Boyer, 66, of Ashland, Ohio asks: I have always wondered about fire in a zero gravity environment. If you could light a match in your space ship, would the match fire tip go upward as it does down here with gravity, or would it just become a round ball of fire since there is no gravity around the flame? Or, does gravity have any effect on fire?
