Description: This video will teach you the 4 fundamental learning methods to employ when preparing for your exam or test. 1.Hierarchy Organization concept: the emphasis is on summarization and categorizing of concepts in a hierarchy pathway. Important concepts should be at the top, where little details should be at the bottom. Summaries of concept information such as excerpts, or concept maps are examples of this theory in action. As a student, you should perfect your summaries of the information you learn. It will help you understand your material, as well as help you retain them for longer periods of time. It requires a bit of time investment to start, but the payoff is well worth it. 2.Gap Learning: Gap learning requires that you identify your current knowledge, and the knowledge expected of you by your teacher. This is the gap that you should be filling with your study time. Sounds obvious? Yet how many times do you go over your notes reading information that you already know? A good way to practice gap learning is taking a red pen and crossing out every bit of information that you learn. As you review your notes over and over again, there should be progressively more red lines and fewer things to learn. 3.Fundamental Recondite Knowledge: In order for you to begin learning subject, you need to know the basic language system pertaining to that subject.
