Dark red veins blood is caused by a lack of oxygen Bright red arterial blood is caused by a rich oxygen content Your blood is comprised of three kinds of cells, Red blood cells, White blood cells, and platelets. I wish the Science channel didn't perpetuate this myth and long standing misconception.
