Dr. James Kenneth Powell II, opensourcebuddhism.org Both prayer and meditation are covered in this very competent documentary. Scientific evidence proves prayer and meditation help one recover. The history of Western medicine through Asclepius is presented along with many seemingly superstitious elements of ancient Greek medicine. This eclectic research provides evidence from the Hebrew Bible and New Testament through modern science of the fact of religious practice for health. Even crime can be reduced through meditation. Thanks for taking up my suggestion for that too. Eat your hearts out atheists! Really crisp imagery, clear and powerful narration, pleasant and appropriate music make this one worth the view. I really loved the way the author panned across images. So much more interesting than static shots. The images were crisp and clear. Intellectually, I thought this is a careful job distinguishing meditation from prayer and finding evidence that each is effective according the modern religion science. The music was appropriate, narration was straightforward and virtually without blemish. An A work for sure! Thanks for allowing this comparison between two proven effective traditions.
