Selected highlights at the Joint Mathematics Meetings

(American Mathematical Society) Approximately 6,000 mathematicians will attend the annual meetings of the American Mathematical Society and Mathematical Association of America at the Moscone West Center in San Francisco, Calif., Jan. 13-16. Researchers will present over 2,000 papers from all specialties of mathematics.
