Title: Senior Copywriter Print/Catalog
Organization: Eddie Bauer
Purpose:
Act as copy lead primarily for Eddie Bauer catalogs. Develop and write catalog headlines and editorials, as well as brainstorming and writing product names, direct mail, and instore signage. Work cross-functionally with creative directors, marketing and merchants to create a compelling, engaging customer experience. Lead the creation of powerful selling copy, brand content, product platforms and campaigns. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of and passion for the products and the brand through authentic tone and concise storytelling. Conceptualize stories with Copy Director for seasonal product offerings.
Core Accountabilities:
- Concept with tri-channel teams for each seasonal delivery
- Work with the Editorial Director to set the tone and theme for each catalog
- Create powerful editorial copy and proofread it for catalog, in-store and direct mail pieces
- Create compelling product copy and proofread it for catalog, in-store and direct mail pieces
- Uphold brand voice standards
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing and Design teams to create and maximize the efficiency of all print pieces
- Partner with online writers and designers to ensure alignment across channels
- Track development of copy through production cycles
- Ensure accuracy of information presented in copy
- Partner with Design team to develop dynamic creative solutions
- Ensure copy stays relevant
