DePauw Blanks Transylvania, 9-0

October 30, 2010, Lexington, Ky. — Margaret Ellis scored three goals and Addie McDonnell added a pair as DePauw improved to 12-5 with a 9-0 win at Transylvania. The Pioneers dropped to 1-13 with the loss.
Ellis scored the game's first two goals on assists from McDonnell and Kimberly Trainor, respectively. McDonnell scored the next two before Ellis and Chelsea Cutler each added one to give the Tigers a 6-0 halftime lead.
Trainor opened the second-half scoring on Katie Broecker's assist before Katie Sowar and Courtney Wood rounded out the scoring.
DePauw held a 43-1 advantage in shots and a 15-3 margin in corners.
DePauw wraps up SCAC play tomorrow with a 1 p.m. game at Centre.
