Unique opportunity for an individual to join a multidisciplinary group of faculty interested in Public Health, Health Services Research, and Prevention Sciences at the new University of California campus. Areas of interest include but not limited to Health Disparities, Social Epidemiology, Epidemiology, Comparative Effectiveness Research, Health Services Research, Health Sociology, Health Economics, and Health Communication.Responsibilities: Teach key courses in Public Health Studies, including Introduction to Public Health and specialized graduate courses. The candidate is expected to work with faculty to develop research initiatives including pursuit of external funding; advise undergraduate students, involve undergraduate/graduate students in research projects; and provide meaningful service and contribute to the growth of Public Health.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a research interest in Health Disparities and an expertise in Epidemiology, Social Epidemiology, Comparative Effectiveness, Health Services Research, or Health Communications.
