Congratulations to recent grad Christopher Burr for his selection as the only recipient of the 2010 ystark! Fellowship employment opportunity with Time Warner Cable as a Technical Support Specialist. The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce's ystark! Fellowship Program was created to help leading undergraduate students find their first, salaried, full-time position following graduation. The mission of the ystark! Fellowship program is to retain Stark County's best college graduates through an organized training program which promotes the leadership qualities of its participants and roots them in the region. This is the second year for the Fellowship Program.
"The competition was heavy this year with students from Malone, Mount Union, Kent State Stark and Stark State all competing for this single opportunity," said Shaanette M. Fowler, Director of Walsh's Career Center. "We were thrilled that Walsh's own Christopher Burr was offered the only Fellowship position available and has accepted this two year opportunity at Time Warner."
