AstraZeneca, the worlds seventh-largest pharmaceutical company, has announced its plans to establish a predictive science center for bioinformatics and predictive medicine in St. Petersburg, Russia, by the end of 2011.
These distinctive interdisciplinary programs will prepare students to become leaders in a rapidly developing field by teaching them to apply computational and mathematical knowledge to complex biological problems.
