      I am a producer, working with recording artists to help form groups and complete recording projects and meeting all deadlines. In 1974, I started touring with The Nerves in the U.S. and Canada. In 1977, I formed The Beat and we have toured and performed all over the world since 1977. We continue to perform to fans in other countries including Japan, Brazil, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Italy, Sweden and all throughout Europe. We have had music videos on MTV and Vh1 networks, as well songs played on top 40 rock radio.

    • Projects: 


      The Beat lead singer Paul Collins launched a new program to solve online music piracy and theft due to illegal file sharing and downloading. "We have alot of fans around the world and after careful consideration, made the decision to offer our music as free mp3 albums to everyone at no cost." Working with The Beat, Collins released a number of professionally produced albums including "Greatest Hits Live," as well as the DVD video download package containing music videos from MTV and live performances.The Nerves CD LP

      Paul Collins' legendary early band The Nerves continue to be worshipped by new generations of hipsters and music lovers worldwide. Rock icon and cult favorite Paul Collins founded The Nerves with Peter Case and Jack Lee in 1974. The Nerves funded their own recordings, toured with The Ramones and released Hanging On The Telephone, a hit song which has been covered by Cat Power, Def Leppard and Blondie, on the Parallel Lines album. After The Nerves disbanded in 1977, Paul Collins formed The Beat, recruiting members of various rock bands. The Beat were music video pioneers, with several 80s music videos appearing on early MTV and touring the world, performing with major rock acts such as The Cure, The Police, The Jam, Devo, Huey Lewis and countless others. Today, Paul Collins Beat continues to play hundreds of concerts each year, touring USA, Japan, Canada, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Sweden, France, UK and throughout Europe.
