It was the ambition & vision of Prof. Walawalkar to run a class for commerce students. The hard work & sincere efforts of this one man resulted in a huge increase in students strength. Soon the need arose to expand. In 1992 a new branch was opened at Borivali & then almost every year a new branch or a new division was added. As on today IDEAL operates from locations spread over western suburbs, Dadar to Virar. The classes are conducted in air-conditioned classrooms & coaching is carried out not only for Commerce but also for Science, School, Management Entrance, Professional Courses & Competitive Exams. IDEAL coaches on an average 10,000 students every year & over the past 20 years it has made lives of more than 1,50,000 students successful. It is supported by more than 80 qualified professors who are well known for their teaching abilities. Ideal boasts many reputed teachers, who were groomed & developed in Ideal atmosphere over a period. IDEAL also decided to join smaller classes as an educational partner, with an intention to strengthen smaller classes and to improve the brand image of Ideal. Ideal entered in a MOU with four class owners in western suburb and plans to open 10 more similar centers in the coming year. IDEAL has also introduced a division called Ideal Job Solution. The main objective was to place large no. of graduates Ideal is producing. This division has done a commendable job by placing 100’s of students. IDEAL also took its first step towards business school. It launched MIP Business School which is implementing a unique management integration program which covers MBA program in a compact course of 9 months. In the very first year MIP Business School, has succeeded in 1005 placements of its students. IDEAL fulfills its social obligation through Ideal Foundation - A Charitable Trust started in 2003. The trust conducts Inter School & Inter Collegiate Competitions to promote talent & skills of the students. It also conducts seminars on careers and runs professional courses at remote places. It has also conducted coaching for Municipal School students. In the coming years, IDEAL plans to expand vertically as well as horizontally. It has also decided to expand its professional coaching to a higher level. It plans to enter into coaching via v-sat.
