Group - Sociology

 I enjoy studying about different societies. I carry out a lot of research which is. in many cases, applied to social policy and welfare. As a sociologist, I subscribe to the fact that sociology is a modern science. Since time immemorial, there have been efforts to study society. All the initial efforts regarding the studies are attrbuted tothe father of Sociology  Auguste Comte who is also responsible for coining the term "sociology."

Having had a receding hairline that bothered him so much as he grew into an adult, he was said to have made an effort to find the reasons for hair loss which you can find when you click here but his efforts were in vain. By implication, he deemed Sociology and Science as being complementary by him. He realized that the conditions responsible for the emergence of sociology were both social and intellectural. Actually, sociology emerged in response to the forces of change that were sweeping Europe during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

On the scientific side, socialism has given the concepts of historical periods and social type perspectives. Looking at the biological theories of evolution, it is observable that it further influenced socialism as it moved towards an evolutionary approach seeking to identify and account for the principla stages in social evolution.

The content upon which I premise this post is based on what I have collected from a variety of sources and represents the observation and reflection of a sociologist who has seen life from different points of view. This has been necessary on order to bring into perspective the social organization and human life which is the subject matter of science and society. On the whole, is the study of society and a social science, per se.
