Group description
The Coastal Bend Health Education Center, established in 1999 through Senate Bill 590, is committed to improving the quality of health care by advancing the knowledge and skills of health care professional, students and the community. The center provides community-based educational opportunities for health professionals, supports programs designed to foster recruitment into health-related professionals among underrepresented populations, and sponsors community outreach efforts in the 19-county Coastal Bend region.
