It’s All Crazy! It’s All False! It’s All A Dream! It’s Alright is the fourth full-length studio album by American indie band MewithoutYou, released on May 19, 2009 through Tooth & Nail Records. The album is much more focused on the band's melodic and folk influences, such as Neutral Milk Hotel and Bob Dylan respectively, with most of the songs written around the acoustic guitar. Many other instruments are used throughout the album, such as bells, violins, and an accordion. The poetic themes in the album include lyrical confessions, pastoral reflections, and parables. There is also a focus on spiritual reflection, existential meaning ...
The GAA All-Time All-Star Award in Hurling was an award given on an annual basis to a sportsperson who had made a long-running and considerable contribution to the sport of hurling in Ireland. In existence from 1980 until 1994 the award was presented to a former player who, more than likely, would have received an All-Star had the awards scheme been in existence during their playing days.
The All-America Football Conference (AAFC) All-Star Game or Shamrock Bowl was an American football game played in in Houston's Rice Stadium on December 17, 1949, between the Cleveland Browns (the 1949 AAFC Champions) and an all-star selection from the AAFC's other six teams. It was the AAFC's last match before it was merged into the National Football League (NFL).
The GAA All-Time All-Star Award in Football was an award given on an annual basis to a sportsperson who had made a long-running and considerable contribution to the sport of Gaelic football in Ireland. In existence from 1980 until 1994 the award was presented to a former player who, more than likely, would have received an All-Star had the awards scheme been in existence during their playing days. Abstract: Abstract The author proposes a parallel analogue implementation of the `winner-take-all' function. It can be utilised in the hardware realisation of neurocomputer systems based on competitive learning, which find application in areas such as pattern classification, vector quantisation and image recognition. Analytic results are derived by means of the piecewise-linear method in the case of two variables and SPICE simulation results are presented in the general case. It is shown that the circuit exhibits some ad hoc properties that make it well suited for this kind of application

Abstract: Abstract The authors introduce the design of the optical distribution channel, which serves as a local-area network and facilitates high-speed interconnection among heterogeneous machines in a way that is economically justifiable. In particular, they describe a design of an almost-all-optical local-area network that is capable of providing a gigabit per second transmission rate directly to the user. The network design is based on the 802.6 topology, a field coding technique in which the header and the data fields are encoded at different rates, and the principle of almost-all-optical switchin...
Abstract: Abstract An 'almost-all' optical packet switch architecture is presented, based on two rearrangeably nonblocking stages interconnected by optical delay lines with different amounts of delay. Probability of loss as a function of link use and the size of the switch is investigated. In general, with proper setting of the number of delay lines, the switch can achieve arbitrarily low probability of loss.
Abstract: Abstract The performance of an almost-all-optical packet switch is evaluated. The switch architecture is based on two rearrangeably nonblocking stages interconnected by optical delay lines with different amounts of delay. Thus, the switch design does not rely on recirculating loops for optical storage implementation. The probability of loss is investigated as a function of link utilization and the size of the switch for random and for bursty traffic. It is found that, in general, with proper setting of the number of delay lines, the switch can achieve arbitrarily low probability of loss
