I live in the Dalton area which is situated at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains with Cohutta Mountain and Fort Hill State Park to the east in Chatsworth. This area is also know for our greatest export which is flooring. If the flooring happens to be hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile, or carpet, our region is the largest producer in the world gaining our area the title “Carpet Capital of the World”.
