The mechanical design of a mobile robot platform and the design and practical implementation of a purely vision based navigation algorithm under real-time constraints are presented in this report. General requirements for this project are to use vision for navigation and to use cheap, market available hardware. The legal framework seems to be clear, all parties in an electronic market will have to establish state-of-the-art security measures. But there are still many open questions about the ways of how these measures have to be implemented. As soon as processing of personal data takes place, the data privacy law has to be taken into consideration. In order to achieve a secure environment, the security framework has to be discussed between the PTT and all other parties.

In this thesis a successful formalization of implicatures using extended logic programming is given. This provides a cognitively more interesting account than traditional formalizations. Focus lies on the class of Q-implicatures, but I-implicatures are dealt with as well. The thesis also includes an equivalence proof between this approach and one using circumscription, such as sketched in Van Rooij and Schulz [2004]. Recently, a special kind of cryptanalysis coined as the algebraic attack has gained a lot of attention. In this thesis, we clarify this attack and discuss the threat to common ciphers. Among the known attacks, one can roughly distinguish between two classes. The first consists of structural attacks that focus on specific properties of a certain cipher. The second includes inversion attacks, which are general purpose algorithms that solve multivariate systems of equations. In this thesis we focus on the latter. The different methods appear to be...
