Abstract: In recent years, important advances have been made in the understanding of gallstone disease and in the development of new treatments, but surgical removal of the gallbladder (cholecystectomy) remains the most widely used therapy. The new method of surgical treatment of gallstone disease is proposed. The results of minimally invasive approach in the management of 534 patients with cholelithiasis were analyzed. There were 24 complications, 1 patient died. Authors conclude that the suggested method is effective for the treatment of gallstone disease and improvement of quality of life.
