Abstract: Abstract We report the observation of simultaneous phase matching of three separate nonlinear optical processes. The second harmonic of the signal wavelength of a parametric oscillator was generated and then mixed with the idler wavelength of the oscillator to produce a difference frequency, all in the same nonlinear crystal. We have observed 34% average power conversion from the signal to its second harmonic, which is at a shorter wavelength than the pump.
