Abstract: How will medical groups face the challenge of serving the evergrowing number of elderly people? Gerontology programs have already begun to spring up across the country. Showcased here are seven medical group practices that have developed special programs and services to meet the challenge of our country's changing demographics. Practical guidelines and models are offered to help medical group managers pursue the opportunities in this important new area.
