    • Abstract:  Polarization data are given for stars whose polarizations are mostly interstellar which were observed for various programs with the University of Wisconsin spectropolarimeter (HPOL) during 1989--1994. Key words: (ISM): general, dust, polarization 1. Introduction The University of Wisconsin spectropolarimeter (known as HPOL) operated with a Reticon detector from 1989 to 1994. See Wolff et al. (1996) for a description of the instrument. During that time several dozen stars whose polarization is mostly interstellar were observed for various projects but which have not been reobserved with the new version of HPOL using the CCD detector installed in 1995, and the data for which has not been published as part of the original projects. The data are summarized here as an aid to ISM studies. Those stars without previously published data will be useful in studying the distribution of dust and in mapping the Galactic magnetic field, and the more polarized stars will add to the database of max ...
